– We have stayed in many “Special Places” over the past few years but this was the standout,quite exceptional .The Sawday critique is accurate but really does not do justice to our experience,we stayed 3 nights and ate there every evening,despite hoisting our vegetarianism on Marcella,her food was still exceptional,really cooked with love.We spoke little Italian but real kindness has a language of its own and both Marcella and Franco were fluent,they could not have been kinder.Thank you again Marcella and Franco.

– We had a lovely stay here. Marcella and Franco are extraordinarily kind and friendly. They – and their family – made a huge fuss of our 10 month old baby, cooking special food for her, looking after her whilst we ate, letting her run amock with their belongings and generally making our time at Il Tochio delightful and relaxing. Their house is beautiful and inspiringly artistic. Rooms are large and extremely comfortable. This is the kind of Italian hospitality you hope for!

– We stayed 7 nights at this wonderful place. The accomodation is unique, a lovely old house filled with eclectic collections. The views from our bedroom were superb. We opted to have evening meals, Marcela’s cooking made it a very good decision, food was fresh, seasonal AND most delicious. Away from the main road from Milan to Lecco, the peace and quiet of the location allowed us to relax,after a day of discovering the delights of the area, and look forward to sharing a delicious meal with the family.
…b&b il torchio a calco, (lc)…una meraviglia, sembra una casa delle favole…consiglio caldamente!!…la signora Marcella è fantastica, bravissima e simpaticissima!!

从最初在booking上被坎诺瓦的照片所吸引，到真的来到坎诺瓦入住，一直被大大小小的惊喜所包围。古老的房子，美味的早餐，还有在酒店每个房间，每个拐角都能看到的无数古董，让来自东方的我们彻彻底底地为这优美的意大利文化所陶醉。而热情的Siro一家更是可爱至极，不仅与我们讨论东西方的文化，为我们介绍每个古董的来历，还做了超级好吃的栗子酱。如果说唯一的遗憾，就是只在坎诺瓦住了一天，不过我相信我们还会再回去拜访Siro一家的的，去欣赏每一件古董，去品尝正宗的意大利佳肴！！

Un posto incantevole gestito da gente fantastica.entrando si viene catapultati nel passato,sia per l’arredamento(tutto in perfetto stile) che per la cortesia delle persone che gestiscono questo b&b(da tempo non trovavamo una cortesia simile).magnifica l’idea di unire tutti gli ospiti per la colazione ad un unico tavolo.molte cose da vedere nei dintorni.ritorneremo sicuramente.
